Blue Background Blues
The blue background of Word is excellent option that works unless you include a text box. This tip is applicable on Microsoft Word 97, Word 2000, Word 2002, and Word 2003.
If you changed from Word Perfect for DOS to Word, then you have to know about the configuration that Word to display white text on a blue background, to avoiding the normal dark text on white background.
The problem moves to critical situation when you add a text box in document. You have noticed that background of text box is white by default. This is not a big issue but the text type in the text box also defaults to white. That is impossible to see because you cannot type on the white background with white text.
So to avoid this you have to change the color of the text in the text box or adopt your previous ways to Word’s regular display condition of dark text on a white background.
