How To Add A Line Before A Table
Today I am going to share with you how to how to add a blank line before already inserted the table. These tips are applicable for Microsoft Word 97, Word 2000, Word 2002 and Word 2003.
If your documents has table at start and you want to add space in it than go on the insertion point of the first cell and press Enter. This trick is applicable on the later versions of 2000. In Word 97 this trick doesn’t work and you must try the following tricks.
A
Place the insertion point at the first cell of the table and from the Table menu click on Split Table.
B
Place insertion point at beginning of first cell of table and press Ctrl+Shift+Enter.
C
Place insertion point at beginning of first cell of table and than select break from insert menu and click on column break and OK.
