Apply Borders To Cells
A line drawn on the side of the cells are called border. You can draw lines the edges of these selected cells. Border command draw line on the border of the cell and it does not draw lines in contents of cell.
To add line around the cells you have to follow these steps.
• Select cell or cell‘s range.
• From the Formatting Toolbar click on the downward arrow next to the borders icon and pick requisite option.
• On the tab of dialog box click on border and click on the border option and the style of the border as well.
• Now in dialog box click on OK.
Changing Border Line Style
The line style of the border can be changed by following these steps.
• Select cell or group of cells
• Then open format cells dialog box and then click on border tab.
• By clicking color drop down list box select the color line of your own choice.
• Select the style of the line and then from the dialog box click on the border option.
• Made a click on OK button of dialog box.
Removing Borders around the cells.
To remove the border is quite easy and simple what you have to do is just follows these steps.
• You have to select the groups of cell to remove the borderlines from these.
• J ust click on arrow next to border icon.
• On the formatting toolbar made a click the arrow next to Borders icon and select first option.
