Hangs up internet dial-up connection
Whenever you are going to browse your hot favorite websites by dialing up internet connection, that may cause any problem to your modem if call waiting option in the modem setting is enable. Modem may be held and cause internet disconnection frequently. Mostly when you disable the call waiting option and someone calls you, he will find busy beep during internet connection. Then select the disable call waiting option to avoid modem disconnection or held the system.
• To take advantage of disable call waiting option, go on Start button and then Network Connections.
• Then double click on internet connection and click on Properties button and after it on General.
• From General tab go for Use Dialing Rules box and now click on the dialing rules button.
• Now go for My Location and click on Edit button. Form General Tab choose the option To disable call waiting dial and insert some numbers in next box like*52.
• Click on Ok button and dial connection yet again.
